The power of millions

The 2016 Presidential Election in the United States compelled me to write and speak about politics, a subject about which I’ve always had something to say. So, the purpose of this site is to live by the adage above. Here we go.

While religion may be the opiate of the people, revolution is the food of the soul.

We must act. We must plan, prepare, and stake out the future.

Remember the African proverb: How does an ant eat an elephant? One bite at a time. Millions of ants can devour an elephant in hours. It takes collective action, and we can do it.

Survival Guide:

Fasten your seat belts, it’s going to be a very rocky ride.

Anticipate that the actions Trumpers take will hit you hard and fast. Congress is already working on the vilest policies.

Choose your issues. We cannot fight everything, and they will come at us like a barrage of bullets. Selecting one or two key issues will help you stay focused and looking forward. Mine are civil rights, the constitution and the rule of law.

Give yourself a news break. Sometimes, it’s just better to turn everything off for a day to give yourself psychological recovery time.
